Rome: Staying at the Beehive

The Beehive is a hostel. So we are not going for luxury here. At the same time, we do want  something special. Linda and Steve offer that special stuff and more.

If you go to the website, you might notice a link to “cross pollinate“.  This is a cool B&B reference tool where you can find curated stuff in other cities. BTW, I love curation!

So while we are into what Linda and Steve are up to, we might also like to know where Linda enjoys dining out. (check out the link for tips from other locals too) Linda should know, right?

Da Emilio gets first on the list.

Nothing fancy here – a family run trattoria with homestyle cooking.  At lunchtime it’s filled with the same local office workers who have been going here for years.  When in season, try the fettucine with carciofi (artichokes) or the parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmesan).  Definitely have the macedonia (fruit salad) for dessert – simple, but so delicious.
