The wait may soon be over.
It was the last day of of pre-season practice and Sixer fans couldn’t wait to see number one draft pick Ben Simmons team up with Joel Embiid. then Ben broke his foot.
Joel Embiid has played well without Simmons and barring something truly extraordinary, will be rookie of the year. But without Simmons out there to create offense, Embiid has had to carry a big load.
And Simmons is finally back with the Sixers practicing. Ok. Not at full speed. But he is on the court. My best guess is that we will see him play for real after the all star break. And then watch out! All hell will break loose!
I can’t wait!
