A Declaration of interdependence?

What does one do and think on the day after independence day? We have celebrated independence. That is what July 4th is all about for Americans. Celebrating that historical moment when we broke free of British rule.

But on the day afterwards, independence is no longer the main event. That main event is doing something with independence. And that requires interdependence.

Al Wenger thinks it is time to update the famous words in the preamble of the declaration of independence to capture what interdependence means.

It is food for thought.
