The New York Times deserves credit for a new feature that it put up on the web on Friday. It is a single page summation of all of the lies and misinformation that Donald Trump has put out since getting elected.
The extraordinary thing about this is that it is simply accepted. No one is saying that it is defamatory. Conversely, there are no calls for impeachment over Trump’s repeated lying. And there is no expectation that he will change in any way.
I agree with Lawrence O’Donnell. Let’s fund the continuation of this project. Let’s keep documenting the lies that this dude throws out. I think that in ten years time, that will be the thing that is remembered most about Donald Trump. And I think that we should contirute to building that memory.
What do you think?
