My thanks to the 452 backers and to everyone who has supported this Kickstarter campaign in different ways. We cracked my original £12k goal and then in the last hour of the camaign last Monday managed to exceed my new (informal) target of £20k.
Most importantly, through this campaign, I have pre-sold 580 Wines of the French Alps books and promised 95 Jura Wine books for delivery at the same time. In addition, next year, I shall be helping a few backers plan their own trip to the wine regions of the French Alps as well as leading a personalised tour for one generous backer and her friends, plus hosting a tasting event for another.
Sometimes the good guys win!
