Rosencrantz and Guildenstern at the Old Vic!

It is one of Tom Stoppard’s greatest works and it was well suited to the time when it first appeared on stage (1966). That is, it is absurdist, existential and a tragi.comedy. Better yet, it is a “play within a play”. The two lead characters are in fact, just bit characters in Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

The Guardian offers a positive review. Now that IS worth a  trip to London!
